Why Do Acne Breakouts Happen?

Acne is one of the most common skin concerns, affecting people of all ages, not just teenagers. When the liver is overburdened or not functioning optimally, the body may rely more heavily on the skin to eliminate toxins, which can result in breakouts. Supporting liver function through a healthy diet rich in green leafy vegetables, antioxidants, and adequate hydration is key to reducing toxic load and improving skin health.

5. Inflammation

Inflammation is at the core of acne. When hair follicles become clogged with excess oil and dead skin cells, they can become inflamed, resulting in pimples, cysts, or pustules.
